過払い金１億円超え 多重債務の税金滞納者（中日新聞より）
県が昨年度から市町村や弁護士会とともに取り組んでいる多重債務を抱える税金滞納者への支援で、９月末までに債務整理が終わった２８人について、貸金業者に過剰に支払った利息（過払い金）が計１億１６００万円（平均約４１４万円）に上ることが分かった。
県では昨年４月から、県や４２市町村の窓口で消費者金融などの多重債務を抱えた税金滞納者を対象にした納税相談を実施。債務整理を促し、弁護士を紹介した上で、貸金業者から過払い金が回収できた際に滞納分を回収している。
県税務課によると、昨年４月から今年９月末までの相談人数は４０５人。このうち６４人が弁護士による法的手続きを始め、９月末までに２８人が過払い金の債務整理で借金を解決した。
このうち２７人は元本と金利を完済した上でさらに残った過払い金約７２７０万円を貸金業者から回収。この中から、県は滞納分の個人住民税や固定資産税、国民健康保険税など約１４００万円を回収した。
県税務課は「税金滞納者の多重債務を解消し、納税できる環境を整えることが重要。１人で苦しまずに、積極的に相談してほしい」と呼び掛けている。
